- Experience with Additional Needs: Previous experience working with children with additional needs is highly desirable. Whether through professional roles or personal experience, your understanding and empathy are invaluable.

- Empathy and Patience: Working with children with additional needs requires a deep sense of empathy and patience. Your ability to understand and support each child’s unique challenges will be fundamental to their progress.
- Team Player: Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and other professionals is essential. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team to provide the best possible support for the children.
- Qualifications: Ideally, you possess a Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification or an equivalent. However, we are open to candidates with a strong background in special needs from a variety of backgrounds.
Responsibilities
As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Individual Support: Provide personalized support to children with additional needs, fostering their independence and confidence.
- Classroom Assistance: Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and routines, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Hours and Start Date
